Larme en Rose
If you stick around the wine business long enough, you’ll have seen it all. Where once wine coolers were cooler than Liebfraumilch, now hard seltzer is hot (served cold). White Zin was once de rigeur, though it was never French; it was from the good ol’ US of A. But then that became too sweet and the category died. Or seemed to. Because then rosé rose up like a zombie eager for fresh meat, though the current iteration of the pink stuff is more often French than not. Provence is the epicenter of it and the French have figured out how we like it: dry, pale pink, light and refreshing.
Balcon sur la Mer Rose
The first time I ever saw this bottle and tried the wine, I kinda felt like I was transported onto a luxurious vacation. Someplace like Saint Barths. But I'm not paying and someone is just pouring me lovely rosé in infinite quantities as my feet rest in the sand. Balcon delivers everything you want in a great rosé in spades. This unctuous pink wine is dry, stony, fruity, lengthy. Comprised of Grenache, Grenache Gris and Mourvedre.
Villa Gaubert Rose
It’s rosé season because it’s warm and getting warmer and rosés are cold and citrusy and tangy and refreshing and, well, once they’re properly cold, they’re delicious. Did I mention that they need to be cold? Dominique Haverlan bought the old Château Gaubert in Portets in 1988, which was then in ruins. He made it into something important, but he didn’t’ forget to make wine that you will want to drink at a reasonable velocity. That’s what rosé is.
Pale Comme La Lune Rose
The name means "pale as the moon", and that is exactly what is in the glass: a whisper-pale Pays d’Oc rosé from the sunny south of France, bone dry, light on its feet, with a little white peach and citrus zest and a clean, salty finish.
Swimbad Rose
Rosé is the tipple of the tempting whether we are in Touraine, Tempe, Tuscaloosa, Tuscany or Saint-Tropez. Provence, the archetypal French vacationland, is the poster child for what modern rosé ought to be. Pale, quenching, lip-smacking.
Bleu Blanc Thau Rose
The south of France has been home to a sea of vines for centuries, though its heyday was the late 19th century after the newly built railroad allowed shipments to fill the carafes of Parisian cafes. Cotes de Thau is gaining notoriety for its rosé wines grown beneath the former volcano of Agde, with a mix of garrigue, sand, nearby sea and lagoons. This is a blend of Cinsault and Merlot made in a crisp, clean, even racy style of pink wine.
Terrebrune Rose de Loire
Founded in 1986 by Alain Bouleau and Patrice Laurendeau in the southern Loire Valley, this winery focuses primarily on rosé, which makes up two-thirds of their production. Their dry rosés offer more body and depth than the lighter Provençal styles, reflecting the Loire’s strength as a source for structured rosé wines.
Corte Giovanni Rose Prosecco
Just a few miles south of the beating heart of Prosecco, Valdobbiadene, is the Societa Agricola Colli Asolani di Bedin where Corte Giovanni is made. This third-generation producer was founded in 1948 by Giacomo Bedin where the family has long specialized in Prosecco grown on the gentle slopes of the Colli Asolani hills. This is made from Glera, the classic grape of Prosecco, but a small amount of Pinot Noir is blended in for color and richness.
Domaine de La Fidelite La Montaloise Rose
A rosé from an ideal, gentle, south-facing slope that provides some of the estate’s best Pinot Noir. It’s organically farmed and harvested and made in a light and crisp style. The prevailing character of Pinot Noir in the Loire Valley is something that is light-bodied, for sure, but these wines are increasing in weight, thanks to climate change, and still retain uber-refreshing tartness.

Find me a better lineup of Rosé for under $10 per bottle? Heck, find me a better lineup of rosé than this for under $20 a botte!!
What is going on? It's that time of year!
You know, when it finally cools down from summer, and that first time you have to put the sweater on to leave the house (it kinda reminds me of the opening line of this song for some reason...also how good is that song?!?!)
At this point though, cooler weather doesn't slow down rosé. Rosé has basically become a year round sensation, but that doesn't stop our suppliers from being scared to have the product over the winter months. It's like they don't even know rosé is the ultimate Thanksgiving pairing!
Hey - their loss is your / our gain, as we took advantage of some end of season distributor closeouts and have, of course, passed the savings on to you guys. It's just how we roll. Oh - we're also bringing these to you at the lowest online prices in the United States :)
You might need some wine for trick or treating, or for the upcoming Holidays, or just because...and rosé always seems like a good option to me!
One thing I know for certain. You will not find a better lineup of rosé at these prices anywhere in the United States.

A Bordeaux rosé made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon...and for the first time ever at $9.99. Dominique Haverlan bought the old Château Gaubert in Portets back in 1988, when it was little more than a shell of its former self. He rebuilt it, vineyard by vineyard, barrel by barrel, until it became one of the quiet gems of Graves. But the man never forgot that wine is supposed to be something you actually want to drink. Pale and precise, with just enough structure to remind you that Cabernet is involved, yet still crisp, citrusy and refreshing from start to finish. Serve it cold. Really cold.

I’m a year ‘round rosé drinker, and I think my favorite premium rosé of all time has become La Montaloise. This estate has the feel of a secret you almost don’t want to share. Founded by Laurence de la Farge and her husband Geraud, building on the Loire legacy of Laurence’s father, Bernard Clement, the domaine has quickly established itself as one to watch. Production is tiny. We managed to scoop up a large percentage of the available rosé but even then, we’re talking a few hundred cases worldwide. The 2025 "La Montaloise" is vivid, crisp, and feather-light, a rosé that comes from some of the domaine’s best Pinot Noir vines on a gentle, south-facing slope. Think red berries and citrus zest riding over a mineral backbone, the kind of wine that disappears from your glass faster than you planned.
