The Guillot Family has been making Chardonnay in Burgundy for generations. This is a family estate doing what they've always done, just at a price point that actually makes sense.

Mâcon-Villages used to be everywhere. Every restaurant had it by the glass. Some of the biggest names in the business got their start here. Then it fell out of fashion as people chased bigger, richer wines from warmer climates. But climate change has been doing interesting things to Mâcon. It's morphing from light and slightly generic to richer and weightier while still holding onto that clean, crisp, mineral-driven style that makes French Chardonnay what it is. You get weight without the California butter bomb. You get richness without losing the tang and acidity that make white Burgundy so versatile.
